Belleville Philharmonic Society Joins Give STL Day 2026
Support Live Music in the Metro East — Early Giving Opens April 22nd
BELLEVILLE, IL — The Philharmonic Society of Belleville, one of the oldest continuously operating orchestras in the United States — proudly serving the community for the love of music since 1866 — is pleased to announce its participation in Give STL Day 2026, the St. Louis region’s premier online day of giving, on May 7, 2026. Give STL Day is powered by the St. Louis Community Foundation and has raised more than $34 million for over one thousand local nonprofits since its founding in 2014. This year’s event provides an extraordinary opportunity for the community to invest directly in the Philharmonic Society of Belleville — supporting the Orchestra, Youth Orchestra, Intergenerational Orchestra, and Chorale that together bring world-class music to audiences across St. Clair County.
Early Giving: Start Making an Impact on April 22nd
Supporters don’t have to wait until May 7th to make a difference. Early giving for Give STL Day begins April 22, 2026, giving donors a head start in helping the Philharmonic Society of Belleville reach its fundraising goals. Every early gift counts toward Give STL Day totals, and early supporters have the satisfaction of knowing their generosity is helping build momentum before the main event.
“Every dollar raised through Give STL Day goes directly to sustaining the musical programs that have been a cornerstone of this community for over 155 years,” said a spokesperson for the Philharmonic Society of Belleville. “Whether you give early or on May 7th, your support ensures that the music plays on.”
Power Hour: Amplify Your Gift on May 7th
Give STL Day features exciting Power Hours throughout May 7th, during which organizations compete for bonus prize money based on donor activity. During designated Power Hours, your gift can do even more — helping the Philharmonic Society of Belleville win additional funds beyond what you donate. Watch for Power Hour announcements on May 7, 2026 and rally your friends and family to give during these key windows. The more donors who participate during a Power Hour, the greater the chance of winning bonus prizes for the Philharmonic.

The $20,000 prize pools will be applied equally to every donation made within the hour to all STL Give Day participants. Power Hours are brought to you by a collection of St. Louis Community Foundation fundholders.
