Beginning Strings

The Beginning Strings program is an exciting opportunity for students who have some bowed string instrument experience or who would like to learn. This program is meant to accelerate the students learning in a group environment to prepare them for playing in Youth Orchestra. There are two groups Level One for beginners and Level 2 for students who have some experience but aren’t ready to leap into Youth Orchestra.

As always, we encourage those students who do not have a string program at school to also pursue private lessons from one of many experienced instructors in our area. We do not wish to replace school music programs but to complement them.
