Come Play With Us

We welcome musicians and vocalists to join us throughout the season. Prospective members will briefly audition to verify experience and help determine placement. Note that the Philharmonic is made up of volunteer ensembles and that, with the exception of directors, paid positions are not available.

The Belleville Philharmonic Society strives for performance excellence and sometimes performs for a paying audience. Regular rehearsal attendance is expected. However, It is understood that participants are volunteers and that personal obligations may necessitate occasional absences. In addition, the Belleville Philharmonic Society sometimes needs substitute players for individual concerts. Our personnel manager maintains a list of players who wish to join us on an as-needed basis.
