No auditions!
But you must be able to read music
and have at least two to three
years of instrumental experience.

Open to all musicians

YOUTH ORCHESTRA

AUDITIONS


Musicians, who have at least two years instrumental experience, are welcome to audition any time during the year.   
For information about auditioning or registering for the orchestra, please contact Barbara Rhodes at bearhodes@hotmail.com
or call (618) 589-3992.


Audition Guidelines:

1.  All musicians will play a short excerpt highlighting technique and musicality.

2.  Non-percussionists should be able to play 2 octave major scales up to and including 4 sharps and 4 flats.

3.  Percussionists will play a piece from their repertoire on as many instruments as possible.

4.  All seating will be at the discretion of the conductor, Dr. Leon Burke.


BPYO Registration form may be obtained at the audition.

       Welcome to the Belleville      Philharmonic Youth Orchestra!
